Out & Abouts
This week, level 2 students had an "In & About" workshop visit from SCRAP’s Education Program.
SCRAP is a nonprofit organization located in Portland. Their mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Students discussed the difference between recycling and reusing and got to see examples of reuse art and products that artisans make and sell.
Next, students participated in a printmaking workshop where they created their own unique stamp out of reusable objects. We hope that this experience will inspire creative reuse projects at home!
